Hello! Thank you for watching this annotation! This was a great game, where I made a mistake, and lost immediately to my opponent.

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4	Going for the 2 knights opening.



3... Nf6 4. Ng5 d5 5. exd5 b5	This move is uncommon. It is a different approach then Na5.

6. dxc6	Not the best move. The best was 6.Bf1, followed by black Bg4, 7.f3, Nxd5, 8.Nxf7, Kxf7, and so on.
	5 comments blitzkov (1851) on 26-Jun-12: tiger_lilov is right! paulmorphy91 (2108) on 27-Jun-12: I disagree with tiger_lilov, after 6.Bxb5 Qxd5 attacking both the g2 pawn and the bishop on b5 and after 7.Bxc6+ Qxc6 8.Qf3 e4. however, after 6.Bf1 Qxd5 7.Nc3 Qc5 8.Bxb5. If instead 6.Bf1 Nxd5 7.Bxb5. tiger_lilov (1200) on 27-Jun-12: I know for a fact that 6.Bf1 cannot be the best move: It cannot be even a good one. Black simply takes on d5 with queen or knight, attackin the g5 knight. So white should simply take on the b5. @Morphy: yeah. I think this is a book line actually. but I would personally go for taking the pawn:Yep I saw the fork. However, then After Qe2, if Qxg2, then Rf1, and white has compesnation for his lost pawn for sure. That is the line that I like. But 6.Bf1 seems to be also very strong as well, if actually take the time to look at it. It just seems so strange to move to bishop all the way back. bvr04 (1679) on 27-Jun-12: Everyone, Bf1 is the theoretically best continuation, which maintains the greatest advantage for white without giving black a bishop for a knight or initiative for a pawn. Besides, that isn't even the point of the game. And, even if there are some lines equal to Bf1, it is completely the style and choice of the player. romrychkov (1762) on 02-Jul-12: Bf1 is best, since 6.Bf1, Bg4, 7.f3, Nxd5, 8.d4, Bc8, 9.Bxb5,Bb7, and so on


6... bxc4 7. O-O Bd6 8. d3	Not the best either. This move allows me to get rid of my weak, and horrible pawn over a useful pawn. Better was Qe2 or Nc3.



8... cxd3 9. Qxd3 O-O	Castling to safety. Right now, I thought I had a good game going.

10. Nc3 a5	Trying to maybe make a small attack, Ba6.



11. Nd5	Well, here is a move that I did not think about much at all.



11... Nxd5	Well,"sigh", I failed. I was on a great winning streak right now, and now this......this..move, made me lose it. Dang!!! I won 17 games in a row!! I'm sad.

This kind of mistake would be rare for even a D or C player in blitz, let alone a 1700+. blitzkov (1851) on 26-Jun-12: good game! i would say that you might want to take longer making your moves. redfox17 (1363) on 26-Jun-12: Take a look at you move and then look again to see if you are being attacked and where then move. It may of been that you won so many games you blindsised yourself in this one. Keep on sharing and explain what your doing, Good game!
