16. exf4 Qh4	Plays Queen because he doesn´t want to lose the intrepid Knight, huge mistake!



17. Ng6	Stonewall Crazy Knight I appears, double threat

17... Qf6 18. Nxh8 Qxd4+	In this place black pieces are not in bad position, near the king, queen attacks directly, intrepid black Knight is not dead



19. Kh2 Ne4 20. Ng6 Nxc2	Nice Change, to aligarate pressure on the other Knight and movement of the queen.

Kf8 23.Ng6ch Kf7 24.Rxc1 Kxg6 25.Rc7 with a winning advantage; or [B] 20.Rxg3 Nxa1 21.Qxh5ch Kd8 22.Qf7! and White will soon win a piece. So we are forced to conclude that 19...Nxc2 would not have improved Black's prospects at all.


21. Qxc2 O-O-O 22. Ne7+	Crazy Knight goes directly to King



22... Kb8 23. Nb3	Crazy Knight II start playing, agressive, if succesful, Black King castle is flanqued by the crazy Knights. Then black plays amazing last resort!



23... h4	Sacrifice queen looking for direct attack with Bishop and Knight

There's no checkmate for Black if White simply plays a normal move, or at least I don't see it. ofiuco (1440) on 10-Sep-12: Wait i remember, if white bishop don´t move, there is, 25 .. Ng3 26.. Nf1, King become to hide and is awkward, rook can help... ionadowman (2080) on 11-Sep-12: Rather a long bow to draw, ofiuco, but I agree that it were better to err on the side of caution, here. Black is as busted as busted can be, and this forces an exchange or a retreat, neither of which is desirable for Black.

28. Rf2 Re8 29. Rd1	White king much exposed than black, but any mistake and it´s mate

Instead, all out attack ought to have finished the game quickly: 28.Nxc6ch bxc6 29.Bxa7ch (possibly unnecessarily theatrical, but Black is left with no defences) 29...Kxa7 30.Qa4ch Kb7 31.Rb3 Kc8 32.Qa8ch Kd7 33.Rd1ch and Black is left with nothing to play with. This is to take nothing away from Black's stubborn resistance. White has to 'prove' he has the resources to win. That he has more than enough, however, is illustrated by this Cro-Magnon line: 29.Qxc6?! bxc6 30.Nxc6ch Kc8 31.Nxd8 Kxd8 32.Rxg3?! hxg3 33.Kxg3 Bxg2 34.Rd1ch Ke7 35.Bxa7 - Even this hideous carnage leaves White a Rook and 2 Pawns ahead


29... a6	Hole for the King, feels the pressure



30. Rfd2 Rxe3	Black goes all in and, avoids hole hacked by the bishop but...



31. Rd2d8+ Ka7 32. Qc5+ b6	Good blocking but Stonewall Crazy Knight had one battle left before retiree



33. Nxc6+ Kb7 34. Rb8#	King sorrounded, caught by the back, CHEKMATE. Anusual Stonewall, the liberation of the crazy knight generates a freeway in the midd field, with white pieces placed previously than blacks there is an advantage, usual stonewall responses to a King castle in the other sight of the field, so the crazy knight doesn´t exist, is rapidly changed to avoid a fast mate. But here they found a place for their crazyness, freeway to the Knights!!!!

The gyrations of White's knights (not to mention Black's) make a fine theme for this game.
