I had to do something about the threat of Rg2+. First I looked at Qxf4, but this was quickly dismissed because of Rf8 and queen loss following. Then I narrowed my options down to two moves: Rhg1 and Rh2. But after Rh2 Qxd2+ Kf1 Qxh2 I didn't really see a good continuation, but when I put my game in Shredder it gave Rh2 as the best move and then gave me a combination after which I would have won a rook. But I didn't see it and he had a forced draw. |
