This is when I finally see that I cant deliver the death blow because my silly king is sitting on g1 the same color of square as the black queen. Do you remember back on move 15 where black played Qb6. This is what that was all about. I can not play 23. Qxf5 because 23. ...Qxd4 loses. and 23. f7+ does not mate. So I have to get rid of that queen. |
