Storms V. Chess In the past, I have had bad luck with storms. In August of 2011 Tropical Storm Irene hit my area. However, nothing was, as bad as, Hurricane Sandy. These were the only natural, where I was worried about timing out on games, despite postponing them for a week. Both storms, however, affected my ability to play chess. However, I still managed to play better chess with Hurricane Sandy, then, Tropical Storm Sandy. How did this all happen? That is explained in the link below. gameknot.com
