mrm Our newest member does not seem to have read those, and if she has, does not pay them much heed. The founder does not heed them, nor many of the participants. So, it's not surprising. |

Let's not drag BC into every discussion associated with those fellas. She is a scholar in her fields of study. The same cannot be said of the others, although they'd like for us to believe they have vast knowledge of topics ranging from Geo-Politics to Energy to Social Issues, etc etc etc. I'm going to delete this thread, though. I think it was a mistake on my part. |

I'm way too involved in these clubs right now too. It's giving me a headache. I've no desire to argue politics and don't think I really am here. It just always goes down that road. I hope some roadblocks are in place so EVERY discussion does not denigrate into a a political opportunity. 1A doomed itself a long time ago. It does not live up to its description, which was my original suggestion. I just hope this place does not become a similar replacement to it. All the attack messages really, really make me uneasy. I'm not learning thru them or having fun when it gets to that point. I'm all about fun; and learning. |

Heres the thing I have said it once and will say it again. The Brits are light years ahead of the U.S. when it comes to politics. They have no problem criticizing all politicians and that's the way it should be. |
