9/11--I remember
Nobody mentioned it today, but it would feel wrong for me to go all day without pausing for a moment to think of the lives lost and the tragedy that occurred as well as the heroes that fought that day to keep others safe and alive.

Thank you fellow Americans. We may argue on other days about why it happened and such but today, I just want to be an American that values my citizenship and the friends we have across the globe that have supported us.

DoK ...
... remembering the sacrifices of others on a day like this is reason to pause ... and to be thankful for all that we have, and be grateful to those who gave so much.

I havent mentioned it here
I have seen it all day, thinking of it all day. I didn't want to take the chance on it getting political and me getting angry. Good post tho.

Listened to The Ambassador for the United States on television yesterday (our time 9/11), he gave a very good sober respectful speech. Indeed a day to remember.
