AussieI wonder if Illi will see any of that action. (Hope so... somebody I know might as well make some money on this) Hope you end up happy with your winner. |

New heights of absurdityCNN conducts a poll where, even though Romney leads independents by 22 points, it's TIED. The poll, released earlier tonight, shows a 49-49 tie among likely voters. But to get to that result, CNN had to use a D+11 sample! also- The new Pew poll, released Sunday, showed Obama ahead 48 percent to 45 among likely voters, a three-point bump in the president's favor after Pew’s survey one-week prior had the race tied. Pew oversampled dems by 6 points for that result. Sadly (for the radical libs that is), Gallup says this year the electorate will be Republican +3. Oops! |

ChangeThe 'legacy media' has been around and running things since the beginning. The 'new media' as it's called, really started back in the late 80's with Rush Limppaw and AM talk radio; Enjoying modest success bucking the establishment legacy media's stranglehold on information dissemination. Even so, the 'truth' was still largely what the legacy media said it was. Though slipping a bit, they still told the majority of people what to think. When the internet started growing and Drudge gave voice to smaller more widespread news sources, the power of the big media houses began to slip even further. Their narrative was being exposed as the manipulation it is, and growing numbers of people found it less and less believable. Then Breitbart came along and really caused the new media to take off in '09 with old-school investigative journalism and reporting; actively questioning and challenging the legacy media's manufactured narrative. We're truly in an information revolution and the legacy media is desperate to maintain power. They being generally left leaning (some far left), see their best allies with the continuation of the liberal political power structure. They do what they can to assist that continuation. They still have a lot of power and influence and are established manipulators of subjective 'truth'. They've been doing this type of 'poll dance' for decades. It's exposed and obvious today because of the new media's ability to spill the beans. |

I don't see very much opposition to the Romney campaign in Breitbart or fox news for instance. In spite of all the 'apparent' lies he has been making. |

thumperDo you ever see the (provable) outright lies Romney constantly spouts on foxnews, Breitbart, or any other 'new' media outlet? Rhetoric and spin is part and parcel of US politics and well documented (and probably expected). With the amount of downright lies Romney has come up with (not to mention the second coming of the Christ who will rule from Missouri and Jerusalem after 'someone' bombs the crap out of the Jews) it's almost unbelievable that any sane person would vote for him, the man is simply an old fashioned charlatan. Do you want some religious backwoods nutter with his finger on the trigger? |
