Ya, it's a great holiday.
In rememberance of how the native Americans fed us great feasts, then we stole their land, and killed them almost entirely. Great celebrations!

Cheers to the Native Americans for feeding us and letting us beat them up and continually drive them out of their land to this day! We shall celebrate their kindness by filling our fat American bellies with all sorts of food which they would surely be glad we ate.

Yes,
I have a huge admiration for the way their people could live without creating very much waste. True conservatives, not like the politicians that just call themselves that.
