What Romney did wrong.
Here are my critiques of the debate. While I thought Romney won the debate there are some things to watch for.

For instance, on insurance I'm not sure that either candidate is in touch with the reality of health care cost. Romney was talking about people being able to buy their own plan but truth is most cant. I personally want something similar to the Aussie medical plan.

Not sure Romney should have mentioned Spain by name. We know some of the Euro countries are having trouble but to mention them by name could be seen as offensive. I know he was only making a point but are we really in a position to point figures right now?

On education he wants to grade teachers. Not sure this would be fair to all teachers in all circumstances. Also he said if a parent isn't happy they can put their child in another school. Well on this issue he is very out of touch with lower income families, especially those with single parents. You don't have those choices. If you do they are definitely very hard to pull off. Getting your kid to another school district in the inner city might be easy might not but in rural areas the schools can be miles apart. So its not as easy as swapping schools.

I could go after Obama too but I at least want to show I am trying to be fair to both candidates. We need what is best for our country and our children. I do like a lot of what Romney said but with any president doesn't mean he will actually do it.

what he did wrong
"He used the first presidential debate to speak out forcefully to its wide television audience against the idea of cutting taxes for the wealthy, noting that “high-income people are doing just fine in this economy.” Asked if there was too much government regulation, he answered, “regulation is essential.” And he praised the Massachusetts health care bill, calling it a “model for the nation.”

These are all things that President Obama says occasionally on the campaign trail. But in this case, the lines were uttered at the debate Wednesday night in Denver by his Republican opponent, Mitt Romney."

exactly. how can we trust this guy? sure he performed better than obama last night. but he is just saying words. how can you vote for someone who changes such major aspects of his philosophy on governance just in time for the debate?

Romney is like that big slice of mystery meat you got from your grade school cafeteria.

I've looked high and low for his "plan" and I can only find his five point "plan" (Number one is energy Independence, if you want the flavor of it)

He has no plan. All he will tell you is that his plan won't balloon the deficit, won't hurt seniors, won't cut the military...etc.

exactly. mystery meat... but there is no meat. no substance. it is all platitudes and smoke and mirrors. that is why i call him the hollow man. nothing but a shell of sweet sounding words backed by nothing.

i cannot believe so many people fall for that.
