Another
General under a cloud! General John Allen.

Funny how both the women involved with Patraeus and Allen are linked together!

Who the heck is doing this and why?

... it's unquenched testosterone bottled up in the field or in the line of duty. It's prob'ly more common that we'd like to believe.

What I meant was who is calling this stuff and attempting to ruin careers? Who really gives a rat's arse if a guy 'plays' up, it happens all the time.

... sometimes the 'partner' gains top secret information ... or could ... so it is perceived to be a possible breach. That's what both the media says and what we see in the movies ... so doesn't that make it true?

LOL.................. I would have been hung many years ago.

hmmm
while generally i think it is none of our business if he has an affair, in this case it appears security may have been compromised. that is a very serious offense, if true, and warrants resignation and possible prosecution.

... so you are a covert ... uh ... protected government operative, eh?

... that was for Change, not Z.

chaz, I'm surprised at you. You know full well I'm a ranting die hard lefty liberal softy. Doubtful I'm a government worker of any kind!

... change, I'm surprised at you. You know full well I'm a quasi-persistent satirist that has been pushed further and further left from my right upbringings by folks like Softy. The last time I was a real government worker was 45 years ago in Vietnam. But I know a covert when I see one. I'll be keeping my eye on you!

Just saw on television here (BBC World News) that in the US adultery is a crime under military law! What next?

Change ...
... that'll be 20 push-ups for you, corporal, for such misbehavior! Or, would you rather have 40?

So, the likes of Softy, Thumper, and Stinky force chaz to have his far leftist liberal ideology. He can't decide what he believes by himself... he gets forced into his beliefs by those on the right. That's what I think he said.

Softy....BO wins, Mitts loses. Give me twenty pushups and 3 hours of reading for comprehension drills. Get to it, Private.

softy
i think what chaz said is the the righties have not been able or willing to provide him with sufficient evidence to back up their claims. therefore, in spite of naturally conservative tendencies, he finds himself drawn leftwards by the willingness and ability of the leftists to engage in meaningful dialogue. further, it appears to me that the fact that the left is willing to see chaz as a centrist, while the right pillories him and brands him a far left extremist, also contributes to his slightly leftwards evolution.

or ao it seems to me.

Aye, Aye Sir... but only if it is 3 hours of material you have written.

That is NOT what he has said. He has, on numerous occasions blamed the Right for his moving Left in his thinking. I love to mock that. He probably doesn't mean it the way he says it... or maybe he does.

But, if what you say is true, he could say it himself. (but, he's probably mad at me again anyway).

softy
that is exactly what he has said... to those who care to read for comprehension.

Softy
lol....I would never force you to read three hours of my writings. The Geneva Convention specifically cites this as cruel and inhuman. It would be torture.

I could be wrong, but I believe that chaz and changling were having a wink and a nod over the inevitable consequences of powerful strong men who often need to kill people coming into contact with strong beautiful women who like big powerful men. The comment that Chaz made that provocted you was tongue in cheek...I'm pretty certain.

z & ed & Softy ...
... thank you, Z & Ed; you guys get it. Sorry, Softy, I'm not mad at you; I just wish you weren't so belligerent ... I'm not your enemy even though you must think so.
