he is a right wing nut case for sure, but i am not stupid enough to believe he speaks for all righties. i mean, who is moronic enough to post the ramblings of a congenital idiot and assume they speak for all right wingers. it would be like posting something from a left wing crazy and thinking they speak for all lefties - just flat out stupid.
i can only think of one person, off the top of my head, who would do that.

just what right wing nuts is dmaestro referring to? George Herbert Bush and his not too bright son certainly weren't from the conservative branch of the Republican Party, and certainly Clinton and the Anointed One aren't conservatives. To whom is he referring to, anyone know? Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

So right wing nut jobs are "nut jobs" because of their religious beliefs and they are responsible for Americas decline. Right wing nut jobs are hurting society just by having their views and expressing them.
If "right wing nut job" was replaced with an anti Semitic term, would it then be obvious how intolerant this is?

... some posters use language like "nut jobs" just too much. But we do need a way to identify or refer to those who are on the extreme edge without sounding like we're always lambasting someone ... any suggestions?

Sorry but wingnut is an accepted political term for extremists. On the right they are called right wingnuts.
I think the term is perfectly appropriate. I will continue to use it.

The point was not what they are called. It's the fact that they are being hated and blamed for the decline of our society BECAUSE of their religious beliefs.

The extreme reaction by some liberals toward religious republicans is, in my opinion, way more dangerous than the beliefs being criticized.

Because right-wing Christian fundamentalists don't want Women to have the right to get Abortions or use contraceptives, because of they're beliefs, they are pushing they're religious beliefs on others by electing like minded candidates (or at least sycophants) to make it illegal. This is perfect example of extremism if there ever was one!!!! They're is a separation of church and state in the Constitution. They are violating this statute.They have every right to believe whatever they want, but they haven't the right to push they're beliefs on others. The ideas being expressed by certain people here on this forum, are the silly stupid views of foxnews and glen beck. There 'is no War on Religion'. There IS NO WAR on Christmas.
