The four killed in Libya was after the 'coup' not during any war with the US. Different set of idiotic circumstances.
Th US are bound by NATO just like any other signatory, regardless of congress. If you don't like it get your politicians (and military thinkers) to pull out of NATO.
Afghanistan has been fighting within itself for hundreds of years. I would agree a mass pull out of ALL forces (including Australian ones sucked in by US decisions. It wasn't Obama that sent the troops in).
Union thug? Not really. But corporations can in some circumstances be considered 'people' in the US, much like zygotes, yes?

Obama SENT 30,000 Troops in after McChrystal asked for forty-thousand. Obama can't even support his Generals even though they've been life-long defenders of the Constitution. He's never defended the Constitution. And so we are pulling out because he could not get the job done. By the way, have you been there? I've deployed there three times. I was a career Airborne Infantryman.
You're considered people, I guess. After Michigan's Governor signed law debasing the power of unions, you saw the thugliness when they attacked and assaulted the the press who were covering the event.
I'm sure Herod considered the Jewish children "zygotes", too. After all - one of them was going to be the King of Kings. But like a poor, clumsy politician, Herod missed. Innocent blood gets shed when leadership declares war on God.

Afghanistan didn't attack you either, neither did Iraq, neither did a multitude of places the US sent troops in the past couple of decades. No I have never been 'there', I haven't had the misfortune to serve in any military. As I said, I would like to see ALL troops out of Afghanistan, including American ones. They (and you) were sent to fight a war that cannot be won. But then again I do not profess to be an expert on warfare, but I do follow history a little.

W bush failed to send enough or keep enough troops to Afghanistan to get Osama or keep the Taliban at bay. He sent in a small fraction of the 400k asked for by the general into Iraq, instead sacking him, a huge error leaving unnecessary death and chaos, and he burned our forces out with too many redeployments. When you hate Obama nothing else matters.

I seem to remember a very high ranking officer resigning like 2 years ago because Obama was such a miserable prick and wouldn't send enough troops to Afghanistan. But whatever, that must have been a huge lie.

Afghanistan was lost before Obama got into office and even Republican gates knew it was a an uphill battle. Mccrystal resigned because of ill advised comments to the press and blames himself. Patraeus did the best he could with Hail Mary efforts and was rewarded with CIA job. If I didn't know you were simply deluded and incompetent when it comes to history and your readily disprovable democrat hating fantasies I would think you were a chronic liar. You aren't even good enough to be convincing.

Like fish are taken out of water. He is a consumer of intelligence, not a generator. Obama feared he would do what he did in Iraq - win it all. And such a person becoming bigger than Obama would be much less a threat by keeping him in Washington. Everyone knew about Petraeus and his affair - they just did not want to pull that Ace out until the right time came along. Which is right about the time Benghazi blew up in their faces. So the former General became a casualty in the cover-up. And it is a cover-up, dripping with blood. Just like Fast and Furious. Watergate was bloodless.

Have you not seen the list of US military involvement in the past hundred years or so? Not all of them have been to 'liberate' anyone. Yeah, you did a really excellent job explaining why this regime got four people killed in Benghazi, why we spent 500 million dollars on Libya when it accomplished absolutely nothing towards US interests, why Fast and Furious got hundreds if not thousands of Mexicans killed (along with a US Agent.) Here's my solution: don't start a Libya if you're a Nobel Peace Prize Winner! What a concept! Is Libya in NATO? No? Then don't go there! disaster averted! You want to track cartels in Mexico? Put transponders in weapons! Problem solved! Oh wait, Bush already did that! THEN CONTINUE YOU OPERATION WIDE RECEIVER, OBAMA! Seriously, a bunch amateurs in the White House did nothing except sell away our sovereignty in the world. If a General asks you for forty-thousand troops, ask him if he needs fifty-thousand! Tell him you are serious about this job and your position. Because you did not come here to lose wars.

Have you ever cheated on your taxes or personally delivered beans and bullets to Privates who are doing the work? So I did 23 years service and I fulfilled my contract. And I fed a family doing it, I never wanted to be rich. But now I work in the private sector and your obvious ignorance of the laws shows that you don't have a clue when it comes to public service pensions and benefits. I'm so glad you took a vow of poverty and live in the wild while preaching your 60's hippie gospel of socialism to us.
