... I was going to read your link, but with an introductory biased line of profanity and accusation, it's hard to take you seriously. I'll only respect your right to have your own opinion; it seems obvious you don't really want discussion.

Al Gore; hypocrite and greedy.
When asked to comment on Al-Jazeera’s broadcast of al-Qaradawi threats, Gore’s offices failed to respond to The Daily Caller and Current TV’s press services forwarded requests to Al-Jazeera, in which Sinha denied comment as well.

“At best Al Gore is in a state of denial about what Al-Jazeera does,” Rubin told TheDC. “In reality, he’s probably just greedy and without any true ideology beyond self-aggrandizement, and at worst — if he really does believe himself principled — he’s become Exhibit A in the strange ideological embrace between progressives and Islamists,” he said.

“Regardless, I wouldn’t hold my breath for Gore or Current TV to say a thing.”

So Chaz
It seems that because you don't care for a particular personal opinion being expressed that you refuse to comment on an article, about a controversial topic, that is written about someone who won't comment on a controversial topic.

Do I understand that correctly?

... not at all. I'm opposed to the inappropriate language in the intro. If you like that language, then OK; I don't ... IMHO.

Zorroloco has sent me a personal message asking me to repost without profanity per gameknot rules which stipulate that profanity replaced with symbols is not allowed.

It was gameknot that replaced letters with symbols, not me. So why would gameknot do that, instead of blanking out the entire word or not allowing me to post at all, in the same way that posts which are too short cannot be posted?

Can someone show me a link to the gameknot rule which stipulates that a "profane" word cannot be represented in symbols?

If there is such a rule, then I will change my post.

Ace_kyi,

The quote regarding an ideological embrace between progressives and islamists is 100% true. Islam is in total opposition to the Contitution of the United States. Tolerating Islam requires that one embrace it. I am convinced that those who are tolerant of Islam have no idea what Islam is. Being tolerant of Islam involves tolerance of child rape and a laundry list of atrocities that are illegal in the United States........................

You may not use any sexually explicit, vulgar, rude, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, inflammatory, racially or ethnically offensive language and/or images. No exceptions for abbreviated or misspelled words with clear intended meaning.

WTF, Zorroloco already deleted my post?

UNBELIEVABLE.

Seriously......NO WONDER this club has over 300 members but virtually all of them never post here.

Reposting my 11:19 post because I know that Zorroloco will have no choice but to delete it according to gameknot rules because I used a profane word, again. I am sure he will probably also have to delete this post, also pursuant to gameknot rules, because he considers it inflammatory.

So you're saying gameknot abridges freedom of speech....
Pretty much anything can be sexually explicit, vulgar, rude, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, inflammatory, racially or ethnically offensive. Which is convenient for you when censoring your club according to your own personal ideas and beliefs.

If I had referred to conservatives or a conservative issue by using the phrase (insert profane phrase here) in any way, I know we would not be having this conversation. Before you insist otherwise, realize that I will walk to the end of the earth and back in order to prove myself right and stand up for something that I perceive to be unfair. I mean I will literally spend my entire Saint Patrick's Day leaving no stone unturned searching 6 or 7 years worth of threads to find clear evidence that there is bias here.

I will repost what I said (I said this without knowing that Zorroloco had already deleted my post), because I acknowledge that I used a word that is commonly considered to be profane. But I refuse to do so under the veil of unbiased censorship.

... when YOU are ready to discuss things civilly, I'll respond in kind. Clearly, you're passionate about these subjects ... if you really want to discuss them, embrace your audience ... engage those who will have this conversation ... share your thoughts and feelings to be sure, but you do not need to lambaste those who are willing to talk. Share your passion; don't impose it.

I do not often agree with Chaz, but in this case I think he is spot-on! Tat will become much more effective by stating the facts & good articles, and inserting less emotion. Most of us already agree with most of her ideas and posts from history and current events, so it shouldn't/wouldn't be too difficult to get broad agreements.

um... act all surprised. i sent you a courteous pm asking you to delete and repost. instead of doing so, you opted to question me about it both publically and privately. ok.

please do search. you will plenty of evodence that i have not been completely consistent. but it has not been politically motivated...simply that i do not catch everything. i myself have posted profanity and then deleted it. and sometimes not.

and sometimes i have violated the rules on purpose. and if no reportes it, i sometimes leave it up. as i sometimes do with others' posts. yes. i am himan, and not 100% consistent. deal with it.

i also have no obligation to warn you. you, as a gk memeber, are responsible for knowing the rules. i was polite and asked you to remedy the situation, and you chose not to, and instead question me. so do not act all huffy when i follow through.

and when you waste hours of your time and find gk violations, feel free to pm me or report them and i will take whatever action i deem appropriate.
