An extra word here, an omitted word there, and the whole message is changed but you still say it in my name. Thats how it's been twisted from it's original meaning Jdh71. Did you think you wouldn't be called on it? For the purpose of clarity and because I'm the originator and the one who's PM is being misrepresented, This is exactly what I said: Private message from thumper: Jeff, You may want to be carefull about addressing KOP directly in the forum if he has you on ignore. Mike takes a dim view when people use the forums to circumvent GK policy about the ignore feature. I know this puts you in a bind as the club's founder, but I'm confident that you can navigate the situation. So this is the way that was chosen to handle it. Hmmm. I did read the 'innocent, let's be friends, welcome aboard' speech from Jeff before you deleted it, after my caution of course. The post contained 5 words of welcome followed by 5 paragraphs of argument and veiled threat. It was also suggested that KOP may want to stay at TLSF. My good deed to try any help/protect the club was repayed, in my opinion, with a stab in the back. Your past PM to me now rings hollow. If you want to insult, argue, or debate with DOK I don't care. If you misrepresent me in the course of that, then you had better be able to back it up with the facts. As a mod you are responsible to the club's mission which I agree with, 'Be prepaired to defend your ideas...no one gets a free ride.' If you choose to cut and run at this point, I will understand. |

thumper PM. we were only told you warned him about the possibility of problems - thank you. 2) this was no "misrepresentation" you said Jeff could get into trouble becaus of the ignore, and I merely pointed that out. if *you* read things into that, that's your stuff, not mine. because it's clear that I never said what you are implying I said. 3)Mountain out of a mole hill. if you want to take offense, that's your business 4) cut and run? Hardly. There is nothing more to say here. you think I misreprsented you, and I say I did not. we find ourselves at an impasse. there is nothing more to "back up" - you said what you said, and I merely pointed out you said what you said. you didn't like the way I did it and you're entitled to your opinion. if I thought I'd done anything wrong I would apologize, but your "perceptions of sleight" are your business not mine. the chips will settle out where they may. I am done here because Jeff has asked that we cease and desist here, and there is nothing productive here anyway. see you around the forum . . . |

Jimi Hendrix posters & bean bags... bit stressfull on the original forum... I dont know what you think, but we have a party... a house warming so to speak... Now what made me think of it was the astrology thread... which really has nothing to do with astrology. Anyway the idea is that you come to the party as someone who shares your birthday... this could get interesting.. for example will Pawntificator turn up as Bob Marley or Eva Braun.....?
