From GK - Ignore Feature and the Forums
Hello, jdh71,

The ignore list only protects you from receiving private messages
(including game comments) from someone you don't like to receive
messages from, but it has no effect over forums nor clubs.

Best regards,

Quick question. If you have someone on ignore, but then join the same person's (the one you ahve on
ignore) club. Should you still expect to not have any communication betwee you and the person you have
on ignore in the forum. You do not have to join the club of the person you have on ignore. I know GK has
strong "ignore rules" and for good reasons! But in this instace, what would be the wisdom from GK on this
issue? No on wants to break rules.

I protest
I disagree with the last sentence. I want to break the rules very much and I merely refrain from doing so. I don't feel represented by the management.

my apologies, I *knew* that you liked breaking rules, but I was generalizing - I'll try not to let it happen
again

do you refrain from breaking rules, or do you refrain from breaking rules where you will get caught?

It depends
on what the rule is, I suppose. I ran a red light earlier today...but only because I was on my moped. The traffic lights are weight sensitive, but my moped doesn't set off the sensor. So I would have to sit there until a REAL car comes along. So I treat it like a stop sign.

But you are talking about something different. Those flexible rules, like traffic laws, are in the real world. Here in the GK world I don't see how you could break a rule without getting caught. So I bite my fingers, and try not to say anything naughty.

I wonder if there is anybody out there who really follows every single rule. That would be crazy.

Do you bite your thumb at me?
I know someone who read every single rule. He suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
