the best way to not get pregnant and therefore plan a family is not have sex   simple, why take
unecessary hormones

(is josh trolling? yes, yes, he is . . .)

the most effective way to not have children is to not have sex...that does not make it the best way...best is subjective.

teenagers will have sex...that is a fact...not all of them, true...but some will...this we know. therefore, it behooves us to help them to not have children as kids having kids is a detriment to all of society.

sure, but there was much less sex in the days when having sex basically meant gettin pregnant and all the
responsibilities that go along with that - nothing is a much of a buzz-kill as a pregnancy. responsibility is a
b*&ch.

ok. what is your point. we live today...not <in the days when having sex basically meant gettin pregnant and all the responsibilities that go along with that.> today we have birth control...it is not going away...kids should be taught the truth so they can make the best possible educated decisions.

my point was life was better before when responsibility was real and palpable. birth control in the hands of
children who have no sense of responsibilty is a recipe for personal disaster. our oversexed western culture
is merely a symptom of responsible free sex. if kids are taught tey can have sex without getting pregant - I
wonder what type of "educated" choice will be made . . . HA! It's broke and can't be fixed - I'd rather have
kids taking contraception than then overwhelming number of little bastrads and welfare families that would
be running around. It's a deal with the devil now and not for the betterment of mankind.

This has got me confused. I thought there was a pretty relaxed attitude towards birth control among the established Christian religions these days ? Thousands of young ( and not so young ) Irish girls used to come over to England for abortions during my lifetime, that has all ended now that the Catholic church over there has relaxed its attitude towards birth control.

attitudes towards birth control are relaxed, but I'm not convinced our culture is better for it.
