The rest of the story
Obama has recently opposed whats going on in Honduras stating that Manuel Zelaya was illegally removed from office and that he was the democratically elected president. What their not saying is that Zelaya basically tried to change the countries constitution and the supreme court over ruled him saying it was unlawful. Zelaya rejected the ruling of the nations highest court and sacked the head of Honduras's armed forces (Velasquez). Velasquez refused to help Zelaya with his referendum to change the constitution as he did not want to violate the law. The sacking of Velasquez was also deemed unlawful by the supreme court and the congress of Honduras. eventually he was removed by force. Now what I'm wondering is , why is Obama supporting a man that was basically trying to become a dictator? His thought process is scary. By the way, t his was not a coup but a country simply upholding its own constitution.

What seems strange to me is the way he characterizes similar rebellions. People in Iran are rallying to reject their president, and that seems to be a positive thing. People in Honduras rallied and rejected their president, and that's a negative thing. Maybe I'm just oversimplifying it...
