Movember
Is anyone else doing this? Please feel free to donate to two worthy endevours supporting mens health via the links below. I'll be posting weekly updates so you can follow the mo's progress. Cheers, mark Hi, I am growing a moustache this year for Movember. I have decided to put down my razor for one month (November) and help raise awareness and funds for men’s health – specifically prostate cancer and depression in men. What many people don’t appreciate is that close to 3,000 men die of prostate cancer each year in Australia and one in eight men will experience depression in their lifetime - many of whom don’t seek help. Facts like these have convinced me I should get involved and I am hoping that you will support me. To sponsor my Mo, you can either: • Click this link au.movember.com and donate online using your credit card or PayPal account • Write a cheque payable to ‘Movember Foundation’, referencing my Registration Number 219247 and mailing it to: Movember Foundation, PO Box 292, Prahran, VIC, 3181 Remember, all donations over $2 are tax deductible. Movember is now in its sixth year and, to date, has achieved some pretty amazing results by working alongside The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCFA) and beyondblue: the national depression initiative. Check out further details at: au.movemberfoundation.com. If you are interested in following the progress of my Mo, click here au.movember.com . Also, au.movember.com has heaps of useful information. Thank you

Mark
My brother had prostrate cancer. He has, so far, made a great recovery because of modern medicine. I will be happy to sign-on and help before this weekend is over.

A giant moustache has been hung on Queensland's Parliament House, as part of the Movember campaign. It's hoped the giant symbol will encourage men to grow moustaches during the month- long charity event and raise awareness about prostate cancer and depression. The awareness month was allegedly thought up in 1999 by a group of Adelaide men and since 2004 the Movember Foundation charity organisation has raised funds and awareness for men's health issues. The 5 metre metallic 'mo' will remain on the Parliamentary Annexe for the next 30 days. Source: www.skynews.com.au

I'd grow one, but the Air Force manual of Ground Training; Dress & Bearing, prohibits me from doing as such.
