shamash 21-Jul-11, 14:15	Eros & Thanatos Steve, what I said was in praise of what rilke brought into our world as we come upon the 5th Anniversary of what began as a club and is thriving as a community. 500 threads and growing! Yes, I mentioned an example this week of the inability of members to save a community here. And if for whatever reason a Founder chooses to part ways with a Club, I feel we members should have a "first right of refusal" to take it upon ourselves to keep our Club, and our community, alive. It honors what the Founder initiated, and can ease some burdens if it becomes too taxing. Though with the love and care rilke gives Our Club, I doubt our Club is in any danger of extinction, destruction, annihilation at all. As a creative culture, we are millennia away from the antediluvian notions that if a parent gives a child life, he also has the right to take it away. But not at GameKnot. Here the Club is the exclusive property of the person who pays the twenty bucks a year, with the power of life and death.
