Musical Instruments-- do you play any?
There have been a few threads about music lately, so I'd like to know who all plays musical instruments. I play a few: banjo, guitar, and mountain dulcimer-- I could be my own one woman hillbilly band! I also used to play the piano and trumpet, but don't have currently have either, so it's a little difficult to practice...

Did you preform on that cello clip? The violin clip is cute, I'll have to check out the movie.

yes i am there. That was my only on/camera session. I prefer to play alone or with a few friends. I can't seem to find the time these days to practice enough. With studies and all. And i'd rather be out in my Observatory. If only i could split in two or three!!!

How cool is that!
Which one are you? That's awesome!

Cello clip is amazing, I'm guessing you have a pretty expensive steadycam and that you are the short dark haired guy on the right who eyeballs the camera I like Elgar's cello concerto, here's Du Pre playing: www.youtube.com I play a few instruments well enough to jam drunkenly (guitar, flute, bodran), but nothing very skilfully

i didn't film it
a friend did.

I meant "you" collectively It's a great concept. So did you see what he shot it on? I imagine he had something to stabilise the camera... They can go from jerry rigged DIY made out of pipe and lead weights, to pretty expensive professional kit which costs more than your house! I bet you had good fun making it

I play the French horn, some trumpet, and a mellophone designed for marching. But I absolutely adore the French horn.
