I'm on the radio tomorrow
Anyone want to listen in between 12pm and 1pm GMT, online here:

www.yradio.co.uk

I have been asked to choose 5 songs. I'm not sure which ones to chose yet... what would you choose?

Can you narrow down the genre?

5 to share
Steve, guess you'll be coming up after Nicole and Jordan's Breakfast Show.
Well, good music not only expresses but communicates,
so why don't you just communicate
that strong passion of yours for the man you call the "evil genius" De Sade?

That's the difficulty Zombie, no genre. I've decided to dedicate a song each to my wife, my 2 kids, me and to the listener.

Hi Shamash, how about this one for de Sade:

...But what's confusing you
Is just the nature of my game
Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints
As heads is tails
Just call me Lucifer
Cause I'm in need of some restraint
So if you meet me
Have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse
Or I'll lay your soul to waste,
(get down)

i was not referring to Shamash.
sorry for the misunderstanding!! After reading again about what a genius DE-Sade was i had to choke down the bile. You must understand that with all the great Philosophers and Authors to read from i have no time for euro-trash. And none whatsoever for de sade. Forgive me. But i guess i'm just not cultured enough. I will have to make do with my cello and violin.

My eclectic taste in music
Since there is no genre, and I have no idea what sort of music you like, I'll just throw some out there. Hopefully you won't have heard of a few so you can discover something new:

"Santo Domingo" by Rodrigo y Gabriela. You'll need to watch a video of them to really appreciate what they do.

"Camino" by Orden y Mandato de San Miguel Arcangel. It's about walking the Camino de Santiago

"Guten tag" or "Ist das so" by Wir sind Helden. Fun German pop music

"Lay Down your Arms and Dance" by Bamjimba. He is a friend of mine who wrote this song about child soldiers.

"Pata Pata" by Mariam Makeba. Just a fun dance song.

That's enough weird stuff for now. I don't expect you to use any-- I just wanted to get the creative juices flowing!
