 A simple act
I had not thought of the person who had given it to me
for many many months...
It brought tears to my eyes
a smile to my lips
I said a little prayer
may the soul rest in peace.....
this simple act of finding an old rose add essence to my day
how was your day enrichened today?

Just a smile
Today: like any ordinary day is just after leaving home , and go out on the streets and meet suddenly a familiar face walking around and we see each other and acknowlege me with an honest smile, that makes my day very pleasant!

driving along on a cold windy day
the radio softly, hearing it play
a favourite song, have not heard it for a while
that certainly makes my day

a simple act
As i drove to work today a bird was flying next to my window
It stayed there for quite a while, at the same level of the window
i know it is a simple thing
but it helped start my day on a bright and happy note

A Kiss
It was a cold morning at the bus stop with my daughter. I wait with her every morning, and most days she gives me a hug and a kiss right as the bus is stopping. Yesterday she forgot to kiss me and wave bye, but today she remembered. It made me realize how much some of the simple things I take for granted should be cherished. A kiss from my kids is something I always hope I'll deserve.

no queues at the supermarket
i am always in a hurry to get my evening dinner supplies before i pick my kids up from school and the queues are always so long. Have you ever experienced the joy that goes with the experience of not having to wait. I did yesterday. it was such amn amazing feeling. the days tension just washed away as i walked stright up to the counter,,,aaah bliss
