The Petronas Twin Towers
Location: Malaysia.

Constructed from 1992 through 1998. They were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 -2004, until surpassed by Taipei 101.

Empire State Buliding
Location : New York City

It was the tallest building in New York (40 years)from its completion in 1931 until The 1972 (The World Trade Center, North tower). After 2001, The Empire state building becomes again the tallest. structure. In the Americas, it is the second tallest building after The Willis Tower in Chicago.
It is an Art Deco skyscraper.

Hagia Sophia
The Hagia Sophia,Constantinople (Istanbul,Turkey), was built between 532 and 537. It remains one of the supreme achievements in the history of world architecture.
It was being built for The Emperor Justinian in Constantinople by the architect Anthemius of Tralles.

This is the time of Byzantine Art.

The Solow Building, Number 9
In New York, just behind the Plaza Hotel and a couple of blocks from Central Park is an office
building with a front face that sweeps up in a parabolic curve from the base. I know it's just an
office building. But the sweeping exterior shape is inspirational when you are standing at the
base, and there is a big red 9 out in front that seems inexplicable. I like it. What can I say?
