Final vicit These are the only players remaining, however looking at the progress to the final, it is clear that the final needs to be varied. Vicit got as far as the semi-final. As his opponent is no longer with the team, he receives a bye into the final. Andru2 got as far as the quarter final, but did not appear to play any of those games. His opponent was subsequently removed from the team, and thus he is given a bye past two rounds to the final. Therefore, it is my suggestion that b123, mitchle and chessfiend, the three remaining warriors from the quarter final are all reinstated to play off for the medals in a 5-player mini-tournament. However, I will need the agreement of both andru2 and vicit in order to proceed with this plan of action. It is what I think is the fairest recourse, however the ultimate decision lies with both of them. Otherwise, they will play off the final, and no bronze medal will be awarded.
