Sicilian Dragon; Where to study chess openings? We have talked and discussed a lot about how to study chess openings in the thread which I started from opening books or from chess programs. There are many good chess books and programs which you can study it in details but you have the price to pay. One alternative way to study chess is by youtube chess programs. The above link is to study Sicilian Dragon defence but that is not my point. My point is that you can study other chess openings and other points of interest in chess that suits you. I believe most of the major chess openings are on you tube. Just type in the chess openings you wish to study in the search engine. It is free and you can study again and again at your own pace and time until you master it. Please try. I want to hear your feedback on the pros and cons of studying chess on youtube. Good luck. |

Some more chess openings by same authorGo to the above link if you wish to study some more chess openings by same author. I like his chess openings presentation. You can easily understand what he is saying because his voice and diagrams are clear and easy to follow. For the first time, his presentation might be too fast for you but you can repeat the program again if you miss something. Listen and watch again what you miss. For some players with advanced knowledge in chess his programs may be too basic but after you learn some basic you can supplement it with other chess presentations on youtube. Good luck! |
