London System 1.d4 Nf6 (or any move) 2.Bf4
It appears that White can enter the London System from any reply from Black. Typical replies are 2...e6, Nf6, d5, g6 and even d6. In my current tourney I had one reply 2...b5?!

The book, "Win with the London System", is a dogmatic treatise built on the move order 1.d4 any 2.bf4. Forgoing the traditional opening lines of the London System, the book exclaims to "announce" your opening plan as White with 2.Bf4 and then backs the preferred move order with illustrations and analysis.

I was introduced to this book by my coach who suggested, knowing my limited time to study, to "try this!"

So far, so good!

London System
Personally I think all these anti KID variations concede any advantage white may have.

Black has no problems equalising and I smile inside when my opponent plays this or Colle, Torre Attack (hardly an attack) Trompovsky, Versov or any variation blocking the c pawn with Nc3

I heavily anaysed how to equalise quickly whilst preparing for a number of FIDE Open events in the mid 1990s and again in 2003/04. The assessments of such positions have not changed and are still = / =+
