| On the Attack
The old proverb is "Know thyself" (or some such) and the tipsy has come to the realisation that he just loves to attack. As Black especially this desire to attack has oft led to disaster and I've tried to rein in my natural tendencies but that's like trying to turn a front-runner into a closer: the horse in the end expends more energy trying to do what the jockey wants instead of the jockey letting the horse just run! That in mind I'd love to assemble an arsenal of the most attacking lines found in some common openings. For instance what's the best attacking line for White when faced against the Sicilian? What are some great attacking Black gambits (think I will try out the ol Latvian)? How to take the fight to a namby-pamby Queen's pawner? Your input is appreciated.
