chess4him 22-Jul-08, 17:04	Club for Chess Openings begins second year! I just renewed the annual fee for our club. July 21, 2008 Additionally, I have bowed out of my captaincy with Yeshua's Army and intend to devote what little time I have, in this community, to the study of chess partly through our club and partly through thematic tourneys. I believe openings are a critical component to play, especially as a player matures towards higher ratings, and I believe my expertise will be enhanced by the continuance of our club. I hope you will find the same opportunities. We have the best moderators of any club and I have no qualms about promoting others. I am still a rooky when it comes to the technical aspect of this club. For instance, I have established many club games and have not had any takers. Maybe I have not posted it right. Also, would like to have specific thematic tourneys for our club and lack the expertise to make that happen. I am still learning how to imbed links to messages. Like chess, always something more to learn. Thank you for being a part of our club. Any ideas, comments, suggestions, advice...well please let me know, or better yet, tell one of our smart moderators! Blessings, joe

You know, when I first joined I was hoping there would be many club games but didn't know any had been established or suggested! So me I've certainly missed the postings, but I'd love to participate in some. Do you know if there is the option of sending a message to every member of the club. chess4him 24-Jul-08, 12:57	Club games and messages It seems that if you happen to play a club member, that game would appear in our "club games" matrix found by a link (comp. games) on the club's profile page. Also are links for "start a game, join a game, etc. I do not find any option to send a message to the entire club, probably a good thing, huh? I just posted a new game in the start a game link. I am eager to play as many club games as possible, so if you want to play a club game against me just send me a message, and then start a game! Only, please make sure it's 7 days or more per move; as the work piles up I will only be able to make a move during weekends. But, otherwise, I am happy to join club games with any opening!
