jstevens1 14-Dec-09, 12:11	The Perils of Giving Check Hi everyone! CHECKERS BEWARE! I just thought I would bring something to your attention. Most of you have no doubt given check thinking it would be of inconvenience to your opponent. Some have given check for the sake of giving check. Checks do not always bring good things for the checker though, some can end up with the checker blundering material or worse still, Copping Old Matey. Here is a game between me and a buddy of mine, Bob Jacobs in which he could not resist giving a check, in the final position it looked like a standard queen fork, but I showed that things were not quite what they seemed.
