The Perils of Bringing out Your Queen Too Early
Hi everyone!

Here is your 1750+ rated Grand Patzer speaking here. Yup a patzer, because I sure played like one in this match. If I do not pull my socks up big time now then I will be cannon fodder for you guys in Fatcat2's mini-tournament that I have just signed up for. Here it is:-

You see in that game that after I brought out my queen too early I tried to develop normally but Freddy pulled a nasty sac on f2 to prevent Henry from castling. This led to a fierce mating attack with Henry stranded in the centre.

Hope you have a good read.

Bye for now.

If I may say...
In this game, it seems to me that bringing out the queen is not really the issue for your trouble in the game.

How does easy19 (yo Freddy!) win tempi? You seem to develop quite until easy19 plays 6... Bc5, then you have to back off with Glenda (lol).

The problem, at least according to me, is that you failed to play 8. Nbd2 (Re8 9. 0-0), and I think easy19 was right not to take the bishop after 9... Bxf2+.

I am not 1750+ Grand Patzer, but I thought to give you my opinion anyway - rofl!!

What do you think?

Thanks easy19
By the way, I meant 8. Nge2. Just named the wrong squares, the move above is just not possible.

And your comments shene some light upon the matter.
