tennesseehiker 08-Feb-10, 19:02	KOH V Open Tourney (1800+) Please indicate your interest to participate in this Knights of Honor V Tournament, Open Tourney, primarily for members rated above 1800. However, starting with this tournament forward, any member may join any tourney(s) in which he/she wishes to participate. The tourney will commence on February 15th on a first come, first serve basis. In order to allow any rated member to join the tourney, no tournament points will be awarded. As per Gameknot's rules, all games will be rated ones. Good luck to all!

untateve 09-Feb-10, 03:43	I know of no other way to keep myself humble than to enter tourneys were stronger players beat me up. So, of course, I would like to participate in the 1800+ tourney.

Invariably, approximately 20% of those who indicate an interest in participating are unable to do so for various reasons. Nonetheless, I am going to strive to ensure that each and every member who signs up for any/all of the various tourneys have the opportunity to play. As you can see from the lineup above, we currently have an uneven number of players for this tourney. I will remedy this by personally solicitating the participation of other highly rated members. Thank you for your patience and, especially, for your interest in this club. Without you, the club's membership, the club would not be as successful as it has become over the 2 1/2 years of its establishment. Incidentally, many of you may or may not be aware that our club is GK's largest one to day. In fact, our club is generally the second most active one following behind "The First Admendment Club," which generates a plethora of postings each and every day. Best, Jim
