tennesseehiker 08-Jun-11, 03:01	Tournament VIII Major 2 Tourney (2000 to 2200 range) The Major 2 Tourney is for members whose rating falls in the 2000 to 2200 range. Points will be awarded for those who place in this tourney. If you are interested in signing up for the tourney, please do so in this thread. Invitations will be made on a first come, first serve basis. The tourney is scheduled to commence June 15. Good luck and enjoy.

charleshiggie 08-Jun-11, 06:15	I can't see how the over 2200 tournament can take place. We only seem to have 4 members of the club with ratings over 2200. Are you going to recruit some more highly rated players from elsewhere, or merge it in with this 2000-2200 group?

charleshiggie 10-Jun-11, 23:14	Gien the lack of players jonstherealdeal(1993) is the only volunteer so far for the 1800-2000 section, so I suggest I run a 5 player tournament 1850-2400 with dynamic_dv, shamash(2319), jonstherealdeal(1993) and brigadecommander(2219)
riceant 11-Jun-11, 15:10	Can I join the 2000-2200 range even though I'm not quite there yet? I don't really care about winning just want to get better. I'm having lots of trouble finding ways to win when my opponents don't make any mistakes now.
