Hi everyone!
Here is a game that may be of interest to you in your MT! A game involving a double-exchange sacrifice, a king hunt and a perpetual check. All against Yours Truly.

Hope you have a good read.

Another annotation!
Hi everyone!

I now have another annotation for you. This time against concordborn (Matthew), the organiser of this MT. Matthew, despite being a pawn down in the middlegame, defended very well and made it very hard for me to make anything of my one pawn advantage despite my pawn being a remote passer. However, the natural move of his king towards the centre, which is encouraged in the late middlegame/endgame proved to be detrimental to my opponent and allowed me to make a decisive breakthrough which won the exchange and the game! Here it is:- gameknot.com.

I hope you all have a good weekend and a good read.

Bye for now.

..... and another one!
Hi everyone!

I now have another game for you which can be instructive in a sense it is how to cope when you realise you have missed an opportunity. I can only suggest that you take a deep breath, count to 10000 and resolve to play your best chess from then on in and hope that your opponent will slip up again and try and do everything you can to ensure that he does just that.

Here is the game. gameknot.com

Hope you have a good read.

Bye for now.

@marijuana1966
I don't quite understand your post... In the game you post there are a lot of mistakes and it's no Sveshnikov anyway.
1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Bg5?
This loses a pawn to 5...Nxe4. A Sveshnikov would be 5.Nc3 e5.

5...d6? 6.c3?
Necessary is 6.Nc3 transposing into the Richter-Rauzer, 6.f3 or 6.Bxf6.

6...h6?
Why not 6...Nxe4!

7.Bh4?
Still gives away the pawn.

7...g5 8.Bg3 Qa5?
And again, 8...Nxe4.

And now 9.Bd2 is not possible because the B is on g3. So could you please explain?

Another game for your MT, Matthew!
Hi everyone!

Just completed another game in Concordborn's (Matthew's) MT. It resulted in a Low Draw for Yours Truly but it is absolutely packed with action on both sides. Here is the game .....
