Green dot question
A player on my team had the "available for team games" green dot showing for a couple of
weeks - I check availability multiple times each day. Today it is off and according to his profile
the player has not been online in more than 2 days. How did it get turned off? Bug? Thanks. Ray

No
The most likely is that he is playing his maximum games due to his membership or settings.
Another possibility is that he has a vacation flag. Who is it? Maybe I can take a look at his
profile.

Probably unrelated, he's timed out his last 10 games.

A player becomes unavailable after not logging in for 48 hours.

i.e.: Your challenge to team "** The Fighting Warriors **" has been automatically cancelled due to one of the participating players in your team becoming unavailable for team matches: white_knight_03. Reason: More than 2 days since last time online.

Thanks kingdawar. Doji Pm'd me too. Is this rule posted somewhere?

No I don't think so. It's a preventive measure, otherwise it'd happen quite often that team captains unwittingly assign team matches to players who are away for a few weeks... the two games would be lost by timeout on move one.

Right. Thanks again.

But many of our 5 day team players often don't log in before 48 hours!
So I sent a message to the administrators asking them to change their automated robot from 48 hours to 72 hours. How many captains have team members who go a little past 48 hours before they log in again? I'll bet a lot of you have this problem.

GameKnot could make this change easily, but they won't do anything until people ask them to change it.

Right you are Don! It has been asked several times, maybe one day..... who knows!

You know the rule of business....
- the squeaky wheel get's the oil!

So if a lot of members actually send messages to the G/K administrators, it has a chance to be modified in your lifetime!

* Do the right thing...
- Send a message to the G/K administrators regarding the above mentioned improvement.

If enough people complain the G/K will do it!

Cheers,
Don
