They are as she explained in the top 25 and will only be gracing other teams with the honor of a challenge ...as she deems we are worthy  This is to funny. Not as funny as some i have heard though. Sorry Captain we can not play you because your captain is crazy. Or Damn Will your players out rate ours by 400 points. Heres a good one .Will All the captains on team **** have you on ignore. Or here is one of my favorites. Sorry captain we can not accept your challenge because the players you requested are not on our team.  I as most, do not like to be declined with no reason as we do put some time into making a good match and challenge. Please show some decency and at least make up something .  I

i-caveman 17-Feb-12, 02:17	challenges In the Caveman`s Attic If we decline a challenge we will always give a reason but it will never be because a team is not in the top rankings.every team has to start somewhere and we will accept a challenge from a new team just as equal as we accept a challenge from the top once it is within our team limits.we also gladly take suggested match ups if they meet our players 3,5 or 7 day requirements and again within our limits.it makes our job easier.if we cant we will offer an alternative.If we are slow in answering a challenge it`s just we don`t have the required match up at present but will eventually accept when we have.our regular challengers will know all this.we have all been in the top 25 but we remember where we came from and what teams helped put us there.sorry for being so long winded and drifting off the point. vsopwill 17-Feb-12, 08:52	Bobby, that is what we do. We play anyone as long as it is a fair match. We do give preference to the top teams as this is a competitive sport but i do not want to miss out on the other teams as well . For example. We just had the honor of playing SHREDDERS INTERNATIONAL rating 104. You gentlemen should play this team as they are excellent and fair competition and their Captain,Daniel is just tooo funny. Now Jack...I do not want to mock anyone like their captain Ness, with her policies of not accepting matches and only granting us her heavily favored matches. It would not be nice to ridicule a captain that is rated 45 on her team of 45 with a personal chess rating of 847....Nope. Not my style

vsopwill 17-Feb-12, 14:01	ok maca. lets keep it real. It states it on the Angels team page that they do no accept challenges. This is what she told me and my co-captain.This is what we are talking about. Also you do know we can see your matches with the Angels. Since their team started you have completed 1 match with them. in march of 2011.I guess several can mean 1. Now unless you have changed your team name ( and no one does that) and i do make mistakes on occasion but i never admit to it. I must go and do...other stuff. Best of luck with your ....math. Will
plukenplok 20-Feb-12, 15:33	i think it s quite crazy to decline a match cause you are in top25, because we all know if you dont keep on winning matches you will drop out of it fast. It is also taking things a bit too serious, since no prizes are rewarded to the no1 position, nor will statues be risen for your team achievements. The ladder is only one of the ways to measure the team succes, personally i am more happy with us taking our team score in 2 years from -300 to -100 today. Teamrating/table alsop says more about the real quality of a team. I must admit, i decline open challenges regularly without notice. We state with every open challenge we make : 90 day ratings within 50 pts or the challenge will not be accepted. ( i do take them sometimes, but only if it compensates on another player ) There is a vast amount of captains who try to put me up with unfair challenges that dont meet this 50 on 90 requirement. I stopped wasting my energy on them even giving them a reason....
maca 21-Feb-12, 10:36	vsopwill, I actually checked, and it indeed seems that my team only completed one match with The Angels. I stand corrected there. However, I merely wanted to comment that as far as I've experienced, The Angels have been a fair team towards me. That is all I wanted to say in my last post. As for the matter at hand in general, I also agree that not playing some team only because they're much lower than your team in the Team Ladder somewhat beats the purposes of the competition, and seems quite unreasonable to me, particularly if it was the other captain who bothered to challenge you. vsopwill 21-Feb-12, 13:20	Matti, I was just pulling your strings. We have always enjoyed the Play with your excellent team. Also i should be more tolerant and understanding to the Angels. It is completely up to the Captain if they do not want to accept any challenges and only send out matches that are totally in their favor. Its good to be forgiving.

Im sure you are not "snobby" Im sure i will see you are playing against the lower rated teams. May i suggest you play with the pink pawn. They may be hard to find as is a small team.  The best of luck to you and your excellent team. Also i have not a clue who my two great Co-captains are playing. Brian is happy that he found a all girl team. ME TO !!

Does not matter who we play. Now about the all girls team. Im not telling a pirate, that would be stupid. I will give you a hint. Two of their players names end in candy.   and judging by their photos, i would agree.
