 My two cents1.) All of Dem Pirates shall be treated with equal consideration at all times. To paraphrase from this, please be considerate of others. Recognize that we are all from different backgrounds, different countries, different languages. We are all trying to run our team as best we can. It is easy to burn out as a captain. This forum is to post ideas, suggestions, ask questions and generally discuss the ins and outs of team captaincy without fear of attack or belittling. A low rating does not make the suggestions any less valuable. Length of time as a captain does not make suggestions any more or less valuable. Everyone is perfectly capable of making an a.. of themselves, or coming up with a brillant idea. I had a professor of poetry that was going on and on about how elegant a table of contents was because of its inner meaning and order by type of poem and meaning. Someone raised their hand and said "isn't is in alphabetical order?" And indeed it was. The student taught the professor. Please you have a choice to read what you want and implement anything that seems useful. You can ignore what seems to not to work for you. But if you don't have something constructive and polite to say, keep it to yourself. Linda |
