Team competition
I'd like to see competition based on the pyramidal league system. Each match between two teams would be 4v4 or 5v5, and teams would be able to select its strongest players. Team that has more points from this games gets 1 point, or if the match is drawn, both teams get 0.5 . Every team is positioned in some division in pyramidal league system (system similar to soccer leagues). One "season" lasts 6 months, or 3 months, and during that time each team plays all other teams in its division. On the end of season, top team (or 2 teams) is promoted, and bottom teams are demoted.

This way, teams in the first division would consist mostly of players rated over 2000, and teams in the last division would consist mostly of players rated bellow 1000 points, so the system would work pretty much like soccer system (the better players your team has, the higher will it play).

There would be a problem with time outs. Maybe it would be good to temporarily ban players from competition after 2-3 time outs.

The other problem would be insufficient number of players in a team. For example, if matches are 5vs5, and team has only 4 available players. That's why I'd allow player transfers during the season, and demand that a team has few reserves in the beginning of a season in order to participate. (obviously, few teams would have 50 or 100 players, because only a few would play matches)

The last problem is time control. Obviously, 2 days a move wouldn't work, because a single season would last years. One solution would be to set up games with time control 10 days a game. Than, if a division has 10 teams, each team plays 9 matches , and season lasts 90 days.

I'd like to hear some other opinion about this idea

Too much hassle
I think. Also, the 10 days total for a game is not feasible.
