Dedication,Respect and LengthRespect: He or She must have a respect on the other member's opinion. Length: Someone who has been spending some time with the team or club. You can always rely on this person. These standards are only known for myself, not intended for my team members to know. |

I found, through hard knocks, that having been active with the team for a while is very important. That is how I got one of our long standing members to be my co-captain, after bumming out with two short-timers. I asked a very quite long time member who has proven to be extremely good at setting up matches, he is always there to keep our members occupied. Then I felt I was still missing something. I have been trying to get our team members to participate a bit more. I think it helps for them to put a little extra into the games and maintain loyalty. Well one of our team members has been participating regularly so I asked him and I think he helps balance out our team management. Moderators I normally ask those that I have stayed friends with over the board for a while. With club captain for one moderator I asked for votes, to try to get participation up. BTW, our team members can read these posts Linda |
