43.Bc1
in the last days of Stalingrad 1943, a German General said '' the tomb is closing over our head''.
So 43.Bc1.

Our Position
In the imortal words of Sun Tzu "we are in deep Kimchi".
I know Sun Tzu was Chinese & Kimchi is Korean but deep cabbage just doesn't sound right.

White has been in trouble for many moves. How about Qh2? Purely defensive but prevents being overrun.

44.Re1 -+ or 44.Qh2 -+ or.........
There comes a time in every game that we are under the gun and in a hopeless situation that
we have to consider Resigning. To go on resisting may seem brave and to fight to the last bullet
seem romantic. But sometimes resigning means the same thing. We hand over our sword to the
Victor thereby doing him Honor. We are allowed to keep our sidearms and to depart in peace. If
you Gentleman wish to go on with this fight thats fine. But we are the Knights of Honor and my
Honor is not sullied or Tarnished by resigning..BC

I thought 43 Qh2 was essential but there was no comment. I see no point in playing on.

Resign
I too think it is time to admit that we have faced a worthy opponent & topple our king.
As for 43.Qh2 Qxh2+ 44.Rxh2 Nf3 we drop another pawn after 45.Rxe4 Nxh2 46.Kxh2 Rxe4 47.Bxe4 Rxg4
If 45.Rg2 Nxd2 46.Rxd2 Bg5! skewing our rooks.

Honor
Knights of Honor fought with honor: let's resign.

Resign
I told cadavre of our decision to resign, he is his reply:
cadavre-opa-: That's a shame, I was looking forward to seeing how the ending played out. Well, it was a good game and I learnt a lot - I hope the team did as well!

That was an enjoyable match! I've just done the Gameknot computer analysis, which shows that I made two mistakes whereas the team made none!

I was really happy to have competed in another obscure opening, one which I have little first hand knowledge of. I do play the Reversed Grob OTB and in blitz games which is what I based my game on.

Thanks a lot everyone!
