didnt work
joe the link just shows the game with pgn but no annotations and no tape controls to run the game.
I take it this is a game that was not played on GK. If so then i am just working on a method to allow such annotated games to be posted.
I will update you with my results.

Link Fixed
I know you guys play a lot of 1. e4, but here's an interesting take on:

1. d4 d5
2. c4 c6

From a recent USCF CC tourney

gameknot.com

The annotations are short and from the strategic 30,000 ft. view rather than a bunch of possible variations.

Enjoy,
Joe

updated method
i just did some more research and found that you dont need to select an existing game.
from the annotated games page at the top is an option to create a new annotation.
This presents a basic board with no pgn. so from here just import your own pgn and save as usual.

two night checkmate
I was informed that there is a method that a game can be abbreviated,
by accomplishing checkmate with two nights within a short number of
moves, but no one at my club (San Antonio Chess Club) could show me
how this is done. Maybe they did not want to show how it is done.

I trust that someone at this club may be able to demonstrate this
method.

It would not only be interesting, and entertaining, but educational
to some of us lower rated players.

So if anyone knows about this method, would you be kind enough
to share it with me, and rest of the members of our club?

Mate with 2 Ns
with a lone K vs K & 2 Ns then it is not possible to mate the lone K without very bad play and cooperation.

if you set up the position on a board and then input the fen to a namilov table it will tell you this.

Not an endgame
The checkmate with 2 knights was at the start of the game and maybe about 10 moves
or so the K is checkmated at about the 6th or 7th rank.
I promise to do more research on this, and when/if I find it, will post it for everyone here.
Thanks for the input.

Mate with 2 Ns
then you need to do a search on smothered mate which is teh way that mate with Ns usually happens
