As soon as I saw this, I thought "Right, this is a zugzwang position, so the answer is going to be a waiting move by the King", only to find that the black knights thwart any possible king move.
Then I almost got it by trying 1. Bc5, only to find that this is thwarted by 1... Ng6. That line of thought eventually led me to the correct answer.
