Not sure what a "nurmal mate" is, but this is a nice puzzle. This is a common theme in near-stalemate puzzles; shield a rook (or queen) with a bishop, only to move the bishop next move with a discovered or double check and mate. The alternative is to shield a bishop or queen with a rook on a diagonal.

I was able to figure out that you had to force the knight out of there, but it didn't occur to me to use the bishop to shield the rook. I loved this one.
