A good example of how a pinned piece can still be a major part of the action (White's Queen controls the a7-g1 diagonal in spite of being pinned).

The only reason I solved this fairly quickly is that, if you imagine White having two moves in succession (i.e. without an intervening Black move), there are not many ways White can mate in 2 moves.
A nice example of pins and unpins.
