Hmmm…
That was an easy puzzle, surprisingly.

It took me 2 hints to finally figure it out. Lol.

Not seen it before, great fun. Realised quickly that you have to give check and keep doing so, as you don’t want the ball back in your opponent’s court.

One of those where I don't really know why I'm doing it
but it still ends up being very easy to do.

Wouldn't a black knight on b3 (mentioned in the introduction) make 8.Qxe5+ NOT work as a solution to the original? For then Black would have 8...NxQ?

A Black knight on b3 can't take the queen on e5. Did you put it on d3 by mistake?

No, it was just one of those "brain freezes" that we all have. I was looking at the theme, that of interference, and mentally pictured the knight on g6 instead (i.e. Black's 'b3'). Dah! But then, I had just woken up, and without my first three coffees of the day, anything is possible.

An interesting detail: after move 31 Black has 2 equally good options. That's the purpose of the g7 pawn. Did not see it, though, until got there  .
