Black can avoid checkmate in 2 moves
After the knight takes the pawn, black bishop takes knight. Then, moving either the white king or white bishop will allow the king another move

No he can't
After Black bishop takes knight, white has rook takes bishop mate. If ever you think there is a way out, you can go to options on a puzzle and then look at the all move graph.
