Probably just a random response by the computer; Black promoted to a queen when I solved it. Makes no difference.

1. Rf1, g1=B
2. Rd1, f1=Whatever. If white plays anything else (normally you'd play Kf6 and then Be7#), it's stalemate (or no mate in 3)!

arynet. Wrong. If you read above your post artee has taken the time to explain to yaheli that if black promotes to a bishop then white plays R-d1. Black now has a move but can't stop p-e7 checkmate.

Wow.
In most cases, it's 1.Rf1!!, 2.Rd1!

But After 1.Rf1 g1(Q) or g1(R) or even just Rg1 2.Kf6 wins due to 3.Be7#.
