This is the sort of puzzle that has a bit of a meta edge to it for me. Knowing from the puzzle directions that it's a mate in 2, the solution is easy to find. But if it was a real game? I don't know. I feel it's not the sort of position that would really make me think "there could be a mate here", and get me to bear down and find it.

I always like the Queen sacrifice plays. I do believe if you do enough of these puzzles you start "looking" for sacrifices that open up your opponent for checkmate.
