Not too difficult

I solved it on my first attempt. It's fairly obvious to a beginner, hence the 'easy' difficulty, but is still enjoyable.

Simple

Doesn't tax the thinking matter but fun to play through for the five secs or so it takes to work out...will there ever be a puzzle in this section that doesn't start with a check?..makes composition and solving too easy and obvious..the lazy way of composing,start with a check(which is a no-no in regular,traditional construction) and the puzzle basically composes itself..a little effort is a good thing....

I think there was a puzzle in the past week that didn't start with a check, not sure how to view previous daily puzzles though so I can't verify that.

phlashphlash, there is a link on the puzzles page that will take you to the Past Daily Puzzles page. This forum has a link to the puzzles page up above called "Back to Chess Puzzles." "Chess Puzzles" can also be accessed through the fly out menu on the left by hovering you mouse over "MORE OPTIONS." Hope this helps you find the past daily puzzles. They are a treasure!

Same here, newdoc!

I spent more than a minute on this one looking for ways to sac the Q, then went back to Bxg7. Oh well.

2.5 Stars Difficulty even tho 86% solved it!
3 Stars Aesthetics. It still amounted to a simple check-check-mate line, but the number of false leads made it more interesting!
