The funniest thing in this puzzle is that the black bishop ends up protecting the white king from constant attacks  .

This puzzle is - to my simple mind - of a very high level (four stars at least). Of course, with 'trial and error' the solution is (very) easy to find. But in a real game, when you face a real opponent, while the clock is ticking in your ears - tick, tack, tick, tack - it is very hard to find the solution... and to be - sure - about it.

I'm not a genius. I just have read many, many books on chess tactics and have been playing chess for a log time  

positionalforce - your observations were correct, it works! Use it as a confidence booster, but simultaneously keep double-checking to stay wary of oversights.

but I'd disagree with giving it more stars for difficulty. Mate in 2/PxB is plain then it's just a case of Black delaying the inevitable.
